Robb Watters founded The Madison Group in January of 2004 with the philosophy that government relations would not be a cost center but a positive return on investment for the firm's clients.
As the Managing Partner, Watters brings an extensive background and experience in the legislative arena solving issues of concern for Fortune 500 corporations, governments and industry trade associations. Mr. Watters served as an appointed advisor to the Secretary of Commerce and the United States Trade Representative. While on Capitol Hill, he served as a Senior Policy adviser to Education and Workforce Sub Committee Chairman Rep. Frank Riggs ( R-CA). He was also Deputy Chief of Staff to Budget Committee and Appropriations Committee Member Rep. Mark Neumann (R-WI). He has been a Campaign Instructor of RNC's State Campaign School, has run Congressional races, assisted statewide campaigns, and overseen GOTV programs.
Over the years The Madison Group's practice also expanded to include the development of relationships between foreign governments and private foreign entities seeking new capital opportunities and assistance from partners in the U.S. Watters helps these foreign entities expand their financing and synergies beyond their own borders. For over a decade, Mr. Watters has helped guide and advise international companies from Europe and Asia.
Robb Watters has been Gubernatorial appointed by the governor to serve on The Virginia Milk Commission. He also serves on the board of MGIstanbul, The Advisory Board of ES Group, Istanbul, Advisory Board of VTM Corporation, and board of directors of CapSoft.
